A Gift For All Occasions

This post was sponsored by Juicy Couture Fragrances through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Viva La Juicy, all opinions are my own.

Holiday gifting is right around the corner, and for those Christmas fanatics, it has already begun.  Gifting can be tough, especially if you’re designing your gift to fit the right person. However, when you find that perfect universal gift, all you have to do is buy 20 of them and then give them to all your favorite people. The perfect universal gift this season: a pretty fragrance. That pretty fragrance is Viva La Juicy Viva La Juicy is an iconic fragrance from Juicy Couture, a company that knows a little something about iconic fashion trends (hello Juicy sweat suits!).

The beauty of this fragrance is that it can be a gift for any occasion, not just the holidays.  You can give it as a birthday present, a bridal shower gift, a baby shower gift, a “you’re the best bff” gift, or a gift for yourself.  It’s also so pretty to put by your bedside and perfectly “Instagrammable” with pink bow and gold details.  The fragrance itself is not overwhelming. It’s flirtatious and irresistible, combining sweet wild berries with creamy vanilla and bright jasmine.

Viva La Juicy is truly the gift that you will keep on giving, because it’s perfect.

The New Year is almost here and the best way to celebrate the new year is with a new 'do. So, in that spirit I made a date with my hairstylist soul mate Michael at Sassoon Salon and now I have my usual perfect bob and bangs.

Sassoon has also unveiled their Utopia collection which they describe as a "futuristic space-age arcadia of ethereal beauty." This collection consists of super cool, perfect, forward and fresh bob and “mob” looks inspired by the legend of Vidal Sassoon. Check out the looks here and visit the Salon at 359 Sutter St in San Francisco.

Sooooooo...the nail ladies are on to me and now I have to find a new nail place to get my nails done. For the last three years I've been able to blissfully get my nails done and spy on all my nail ladies as they talk all kinds of smack about their patrons in Vietnamese because they thought I couldn't understand Vietnamese because they assumed I was Chinese. It was amazing. But now, I think that they're on to me. Mostly because one of the nail ladies said in Vietnamese "I'm on to her" and then kept shouting "don't speak Vietnamese" every time I come in. This has made every visit increasingly uncomfortable, knowing that they're secretly judging me and knowing that I know that I lied for the last three years and that I have understood every vile thing that they have said about everyone, and that the minute I walk out of there they are going to say the most vile things about me! How dare they! Now, I'm sitting in my massage chair, totally silent, in sunglasses, still pretending not to know what they're saying even though--they know that I know! I bypass the hand massage, the foot massage, the lotions, the cuticle treatments and the cool drying fan just so I can get out of there; because nobody can shame and embarrass you more by not saying one goddam word than Vietnamese nail ladies out to get you. Anyone know a good nail place...where I could pass for Chinese?
